Veteran Bollywood legend Dharmendra, aged 89, has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai since October 31. According to his family, the actor is stable, recovering well, and responding positively to treatment.
Rumours about Dharmendra’s health began circulating on social media earlier this week, with several false reports claiming he was in critical condition and on a ventilator. His wife, Hema Malini, and daughter, Esha Deol, have firmly denied these claims, confirming that the actor is under observation and in good care.
“The reports about his health are completely untrue. He is stable and showing good signs of recovery,” the family stated, requesting fans and the media to refrain from spreading misinformation and to respect their privacy during this time.
Sources close to the actor revealed that Dharmendra was initially admitted after experiencing mild breathlessness, but doctors later clarified it was a routine health check-up.
His sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with Esha Deol, were seen visiting him at the hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
As of now, Dharmendra continues to recover steadily, and his family has expressed heartfelt thanks for the love, prayers, and support pouring in from fans across the country.
